Leak Detection Bangor

Property: The house is a large detached three-story house

Brief Description: We were called to the property as the customer was complaining about her heating system losing pressure.
A Worcestor approved installer had been out and checked the boiler and heating system.

Job Description: A FULL ACOUSTIC SURVEY WAS CARRIED OUT ON THE PROPERTY WHICH WAS SHOWING NO SIGNS OF ANY OBVIOUS LEAKS TO THE HEATING SYSTEM.
I THEN CARRIED OUT A PRESSURE TEST ON THE GROUND FLOOR LEVEL AS THERE WERE NO SIGNS OF LEAKS FROM THE FLOORS ABOVE.
THE PRESSURE TEST REVEALED A LEAK AT A FITTING IN THE BOILER HOUSE.
THE SYSTEM WAS DRAINED AND I REPAIRED THE PIPEWORK AND FILLED THE SYSTEM.
ON FILLING THE SYSTEM THERE WAS STILL SIGNS OF A SMALLER LEAK, SO I ISOLATED THE BOILER TO PRESSURE TEST THE BOILER FOR 2 HOURS.
THE PRESSURE TEST REVEALED THERE WAS A MALFUNCTION IN THE HEAT EXCHANGER IN THE BOILER.
A WARRANTY CALL WAS MADE TO WORCESTOR TO REPAIR THE BOILER AS THE BOILER WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY.

Conclusion: A pressure check revealed a leak in the pipework in the boilerhouse, I repaired it and defective heat exchanger in the boiler.[/column]
