Power Flush is saving us money — Josh Mcallister ( Bangor, County Down )
We were recommended B Keenan Plumbing and heating after we were having problems with our heating in the house. Barry came out quickly and carry out a power flush on our heating system.
we were delighted with the results and now the heating is working perfectly and is a lot more efficient.
— Joanne McMI had a gas leak at my property and needed someone with the expertise to locate it somewhere within the house - potentially under the floors. Barry was with me within 2 hours of me contacting him and was able to find the leak, repair it and put the floorboards back in where they’d been. He was very professional and knowledgeable, and charged me a fair price for the work. Would highly recommend him.
— Mark PattersonHad a problem with loss of system pressure for last 3 months. 4 previous plumbers unable to locate fault. Barry was able to isolate fault to the boiler and organise replacement part (heat exchanger) via manufacturer. Quick and efficient service.

Plumbing & Heating
We can service all your plumbing needs in your home
Pinpoint a leak straight away and save on repair costs
We use a non-invasive procedure, using the latest technology so we can find the source of your leak, which may be hidden under wooden or tiled floors, in walls and ceilings, saving you lots of money on refurbishment costs.
Are your radiators not as warm as before? Are there cold spots? You may need a power flush.
If inside your heating system has not been properly treated or maintained there is a chemical reaction and oxidisation with the different metals in your system causing the water inside to form a sludge which drastically effects the efficiency of your heating system, costing you more money on fuel.
At B. Keenan Plumbing and Heating we like to help you as much as we can to solve your plumbing and heating problems.
Below you will see the common questions we get asked, if you have any other enquiries please get in touch.
WHY DO MY RADIATORS NOT HEAT LIKE THEY USED TO?
This can be a sign of a dirty or sludged up heating system. Inadequate or diluted heating system inhibitor or protection causes the metals in the system to react together causing the water inside to form a sludge which drastically effects the efficiency of your heating system, costing you more money on fuel.
WHY IS MY WOODEN FLOOR OR TILES LIFTING, SIGNS OF DAMP ON FLOOR OR WALLS.
This could be signs of a leak under your floor. The moisture from the leak rises up through the screed or floor getting into your wooden floor or tile joints causing an expansion of the materials, making the floor lift. Other causes can be damp coming up due to no or improper damp proofing, an example can be old houses were damp proofing was not fitted.
WHY IS MY BOILER ALWAYS LOSING PRESSURE?
This could be the sign of a hidden leak. There can be many reasons for the boiler to lose pressure from a faulty expansion vessel, a fault or corrosion at your boiler, pump, valves or radiator failure or a hidden leak under your floor or hidden in a wall.
