Leak Detection Banbridge
Property is a detached bungalow which sits on a hillside.
On walking into the property on my initial observation there was signs of damp affected wooden floors at the front door and patio doors in the room off the kitchen. With the wooden floor actually lifting in this back room as in pictures.
We have begun the survey by investigating the heating system. The heating pipes were nowhere near were these signs of damp were located. On further investigation, the heating system was a pressurized system with no sign of loss of pressure on the pressure gauge to indicate no leaks on the heating system.
I then started an acoustic survey on the domestic water systems which came up negative indicating no leaks.
We have carried out a full leak detection survey at the property. An acoustic survey and observations have concluded to me that the damp is not coming from any of the pipework and must be from a damp proofing issue.
