Bangor leak detection

Comments:

I was called to the property as the client was complaining of water coming down through the ceiling.
When I arrived water was coming down through the ceiling into the kitchen and down through the extractor and over the oven and hob.

The water was isolated and I took the survey upstairs to the bathroom above the kitchen, I could see signs of water underneath the bath so I removed the bath panel.

With the taps at the back of the bath to the wall, I had to take photos to see the problem.

A flexible hose to the bath taps had failed, as in the picture.

To fix the leak the bath, bath panel surround and frame had to be removed and refitted.

Conclusion

A Visual inspection has concluded there was a leak under the bath from a failed flexible hose which had been leaking for a while.

Have a leak but can’t find the source?
